RESOLUTION NO. 01-98
AUTHORIZING THE
FORMATION OF A
FILIPINO ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS’
SOCIETY IN
CENTRAL
REGION OF THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA,
AS A CHAPTER OF THE
INSTITUTE OF INTEGRATED ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS (IIEE)
WHEREAS, the Institute of Integrated Electrical
Engineers (IIEE) is the national organization of Filipino electrical engineers’
professional association, which promotes the image and status of the electrical
engineering profession and the socio-economic well-being of the practitioners of
the profession;
WHEREAS, the Central Region which comprise Riyadh, the
capital city of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is host to fairly large number of
Filipino electrical practitioners as migrant overseas contract workers (OCWs),
who desire to form their own professional organization/society and affiliate
under the IIEE; and
WHEREAS, the undersigned dedicated Filipino electrical
engineers, composed of active and non-active IIEE members, working in the
Central Region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, have convened this meeting with
the view to forming a Filipino electrical engineers’ society, as a Chapter
organization under the IIEE National Headquarters based in Manila.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY
RESOLVED to authorize the formation of a Filipino electrical engineers’
society in the Central Region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as a Chapter
Organization of the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers (IIEE).
RESOLVED FURTHER, to name this Chapter Organization as
“Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers – Saudi Arabia Central Region
Chapter”.
RESOLVED this 28th day of August,
1998 in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This certifies that this resolution has been
unanimously adopted during the pre-organizational meeting of the founding
members of the IIEE – Saudi Arabia Central Region Chapter held on the 28th
day of August, 1998, at Al Mutlaq Hotel, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia.
