August 2005 Technical Seminar
The Institute of Integrated
Electrical Engineers of the Phils., Inc. – Central
Region Chapter Saudi Arabia (IIEE-CRCSA) conducted
it 4th Technical Seminar on
August 27, 2004 from 7AM to 12:30PM at Holiday Inn
Minhal Hotel, Saudi Arabia.
The
convention started with the registration of the
participants as early as 7:00 AM. Program proper
started at 8AM with the Philippine National Anthem and
Invocation by Engr. Leandro Suguitan, Chapter
Auditor.
The Masters of Ceremony was Engr. Rommel
A. Orpiada.
Engr. Rogelio B. Matias, IIEE-CRCSA Chapter
President,
delivered the opening remarks folllowed by a treasurer's
report of Engr
Lorene S. Horvidalla..
Our 1st speaker is a senior accountant and
financial analyst of Aggad Investment Group for more
than 10 years now. He’s a CPA in the Philippines and has
also been certified by the US Institutes as a Certified
Business Manager (CBM), Certified Cost Accountant (CFA),
Financial Analyst Designate (FAD), Master Financial
Manager (MFM) and Master Financial Professional (MFP).
He has been awarded as Outstanding Member of PIPA Riyadh
for several years and by the PICPA National Office as
the 1998 Outstanding CPA Special Awardees for Overseas
Community Service. Some of the benefits the attendees
will receive from this on-line investment seminar
include the ability to use internet as investing tool,
learning to locate and use the various investing tools
in the internet, making your money work for you,
learning the methods of investing in stocks,
understanding the Philippine and US stock exchange, have
knowledge of the types of online brokers and many
more.
Our 2nd
resource speaker is our very own chapter VP internal for
this year, Engr, Renato A. Datuin, PEE. He has been with
Schneider Electric for quite some time now and has held
numerous key positions in the company such as Technical
Manager and Design Manager. He will be giving to us a
technical seminar on “Protection Coordination Study Part
1” which include topics such as network structures,
network and machine faults, network protection,
protection function studies and of course protection
coordination.
