CONVERSION
OF PRC LICENSE
FOR
OVERSEAS FILIPINO CONTRACT WORKERS
The Professional Regulation
Commission (PRC) has resumed accepting applications for conversion of PRC
license of Assistant Electrical Engineers, Associate Electrical Engineers and
Master Electricians as per PRC Chairman Hermogenes P. Pobre memorandum to The
OIC, Applications Division, dated December 4, 1997.
The memorandum states as follows:
As an exemption to the rule in observing the deadline for
the acceptance of applications for registration as Registered Electrical
Engineers and Registered Master Electricians, you are hereby directed to accept
applications of Associate and Assistant Electrical Engineers and Master
Electricians for registration as Registered Electrical Engineers and Registered
Master Electricians, respectively, even after the deadline provided that
they can present documents showing that they were out of the country during the
period of registration of Registered Electrical Engineers and Registered Master
Electricians under R.A. No. 7920.

notarized)

Form 203 (Properly filled-up in handwriting)
·
Original Copy of PRC Board Certificate (if laminated secure
an affidavit of loss)
·
PRC License ID (Original copy)
·
2 pieces, 2 x 2 colored pictures
·
Community Tax Certificate
·
P 10.00 for Documentary stamp
·
FOR CPE (OCW)
ü Photocopy
of Passport, showing the last departure from Manila and the latest arrival in
Manila (Certified True Copy at the Philippine Embassy, if application is
assigned to an Authorized Representative)
ü Authorization
Letter (issued to Authorized Representative)
ü Certificate
of Employment (Show original before submitting Xerox copy)
